My cousin is in the ICU right now after having suffered a massive stroke. He's 29 with a 12 year old son. He was fine one minute and the next he's paralyzed and can't talk.
I'm so sorry to hear about this I hope he improves.
*bear hugs*
@QuantumStorm - Me too. As of a few hours ago he was paralyzed along his left side and couldn't talk. Waiting to see how much his brain swells. I just can't believe something like this can happen to someone so close to my age. He was the only one out of that bunch to have his act together too. So sad
@forever_musing - I once had an extended family member literally drop dead from an aneurysm, and she died in her early twenties. She was perfectly healthy, too.
Shit happens, ya know? Hopefully though, he will make it through okay.
@QuantumStorm - True, it's just very sobering. I've actually never experienced a death of someone I know except my great-grandparents when I was younger (but they were also very old). The thought of dealing with a death of someone who I knew and is close to my age is kind of overwhelming, but like you said, there is still hope that he can make it through.
I'm so sorry to hear this! I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. You, too. HUGE HUGS!
He will make it through. He will. He will. He will. He will. He will. That's my mantra until you give us more news. Keep strong girl.
